Bleu Martinique Tiara

Empress Josephine, the wife of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, was born in the Caribbean.

She left the island of Martinique, to immerse herself in the high society circles of Paris. Her efforts paid well, for she became Empress of France and among the most influential of European monarchs.

This ethereal tiara evokes the aire of 18th century Colonialism in the West Indies, blending together elements of Creole style and Continental sophistication, very much en vogue during the Napoleon reign. This is a dazzling tiara, set with clear Austrian crystals and faux sapphires, on silver tone metal.

The piece measures 3 1/2 inches in height by 7 inches in width and includes an adjustable headband.
